大きな吹き抜けを囲み、階段が連なる門真市立文化創造図書館KADOMADO。エスカレーターがあるにもかかわらず、人々はギャラリーウォークの階段を、渦に吸い込まれるように上っていきます。その先に見える場所や活動が、次の一歩を誘う。移動の経路そのものが、人と空間の関わりを生み出す装置のように感じられました。
外周のスパイラルガーデンを巡ると、高さや向きに応じて街の景色が変わります。内外を行き来するうちに、空間の密度や人との距離も変化する。人々の気配が重なる場所もあれば、一人で落ち着ける場所もあり、それぞれがお気に入りの居場所で、本を読んだり、思い思いの時間を楽しんでいます。
映像で伝えたいのは、歩きたくなる空間と、留まりたくなる場所が共存する様子です。階段を上る人の流れ、吹き抜け越しに見える活動、テラスから広がる街の眺め。移動する視点でそれらの関係をたどり、建築が人々の過ごし方をどのように誘い、支えているのかを伝えます。

映像で伝えたいのは、歩きたくなる空間と、留まりたくなる場所が共存する様子です。階段を上る人の流れ、吹き抜け越しに見える活動、テラスから広がる街の眺め。移動する視点でそれらの関係をたどり、建築が人々の過ごし方をどのように誘い、支えているのかを伝えます。
At Kadoma City Cultural Creation Library KADOMADO, designed by Katsuhiko Endo Architect and Associates, sequences of stairs envelop an expansive central atrium. Despite the presence of escalators, visitors are naturally drawn to ascend the stairs of the Gallery Walk as if pulled into a gentle spiral. Glimpses of spaces and activities unfolding ahead invite the next step, turning circulation itself into an apparatus that cultivates engagement between people and architecture.
Ascending along the perimeter Spiral Garden, views of the cityscape shift with every change in height and orientation. Moving between inside and out, the spatial density and sense of distance between people continually modulate. Vibrant zones of social presence alternate with secluded corners for quiet contemplation, allowing everyone to discover their own niche to read or pass the time.
Our film captures the coexistence of spaces that beckon movement and places that invite pause. Tracing the flow of people climbing the stairs, the activities framed across the atrium, and the townscapes opening from the terraces, the moving perspective illustrates how the architecture gently prompts and supports diverse ways of being.
